Samuel Tatum born abt 1638 Charles City Co VA. He was the son of Nathaniel and Ann Tatum. Before Oct 1686 Samuel Tatum Sr apparently traveled to England because he received land for transporting people to VA. 30 Oct 1686 Charles City Co VA Mr. Samuel Tatum 803 acres in Bristol Par at a place called Warrockbock bordered by John Smith, Henry Batt, crossing the second Sw. to land of Hugh Lee. Samuel Tatum took Robert Malone, an orphan, to raise, and promised to see that he had all of the usual allowances at the end of his apprenticeship.
